According to Vietnam import export data , Vietnam's export of prepared food items reached an impressive value of $8.9 billion, depicting the country's position as a key supplier in this sector. Notably, China emerged as the leading importer of prepared foodstuffs from Vietnam during this period. Among the various categories of prepared food items, preparations of meat for marine animals constituted a substantial portion of Vietnam's exports, amounting to $2.46 billion in 2023.   Jewellery is the major export item from Turkey. In 2023, Turkey's jewellery exports grew by 2.5% as compared to fiscal year 2022. According to Turkey import export data reports, over $8.2 billion worth of jewellery items were exported from Turkey during the financial year 2023. The United Arab Emirates and Iraq were the two biggest markets for Turkey’s  jewellery exports last year.  Among the fastest growing markets for Turkish jewellery items exports were the United States, Hong Kong, Libya, Kyrgyz Republic and Israel.   Austria is a prominent importer of foods and beverages across the global market. These include fish, sugar, cocoa, cereals, fruits, spirits, tobacco, food waste, and various food preparations. Austria import export data shows that over $11 million worth of fresh fish exports were recorded during last year. Germany is the leading importer of frozen fish from Austria with 90% market share. Among the fastest growing markets for Austria fish exports were Hungary, Slovak Republic and Czech Republic. Whereas, meat preparations exports from Austria were recorded to be $720 million during last fiscal year. There was a 6% increase in the meat preparations exports from Austria in 2023.   Vietnam was the 7th biggest coffee exporter in the world during fiscal year 2023. Vietnam's coffee exports propelled during last year. According to Vietnam import export data , over 4 billion dollars worth of coffee was exported in 2023. Compared to fiscal year 2022, there was minimal increase in Vietnam's coffee exports as it was $3.2 billion in 2022. During December 2023, the highest amount of coffee exports were estimated to be $514 million. Switzerland was the biggest coffee importer from Vietnam with around $815 million worth of coffee imports from Vietnam with 23% market share. In terms of Vietnam's coffee exports share, the fastest growing markets were Singapore (12%), Netherlands (11%), Germany (9.4%), Japan (7%) and the United States (5.3%).  According to the latest Vietnam customs data , over $613 million worth of coffee was exported during January 2024.   Kenya's exports are heavily dependent on horticulture and tea. These are the major exports of Kenya. As per Kenya export data reports, around 7.5 billion dollars worth of exports recorded for Kenya during fiscal year 2023. Among which tea, coffee and cut flowers are the major contributors in Kenya's exports.  Tea was the top most export of Kenya. Kenya’s tea exports were recorded to be $1.38 billion in 2023. Pakistan was the biggest market for Kenya's tea exports with 38% market share. Whereas, Egypt was the second leading tea importer from Kenya with 15% market share. Russia’s wheat exports saw rapid growth in March

  Last year, Russia was the fifth biggest wheat exporter across the world. According to Russia import export data , over $5.5 billion worth of wheat was exported from Russia. Similar trend follows this year. Russia has received record wheat production during last year. Despite sanctions imposed by several countries like the United States, Canada and the European Union. The forecast this year shows that Russian wheat exports could hit a record 52.9 mmt during the 2023-2024 marketing year.  In future, it might cross 86 mmt tonnes. The biggest market for Russia’s wheat exports were Turkey and Egypt where almost 56% of the overall Russia’s wheat export shipments were made.
